Attribute labels and ROAS target per product
With attribute labels Advisionr puts properties such as brand, category or margin class into a custom label. With ROAS per product, the Labelizer uses each product’s own target.
- Which properties can become a label
- How margin classes are determined
- How ROAS per product works
Why this matters
Custom labels let you organise campaigns and product groups by property. Advisionr fills them for you via its own supplemental source in Merchant Center.
Attribute labels
Per custom label you choose one property: brand, product type, Google category, margin class or new. Margin classes are only calculated with real cost prices from your feed. A label already used by your feed can only be overwritten deliberately.
ROAS target per product
Products with a low margin need a higher ROAS to make a profit. When this option is on, the Labelizer judges each product against its own target based on the margin. The option is off by default.
Step by step
Follow this order to avoid drawing conclusions from incomplete data or mixing several changes at the same time.
- Open Product feed and choose Attribute labels.
- Choose per custom label which property goes into it.
- Optionally switch on ROAS target per product.
How to get the best result
Advisionr performs best when data, goals and responsibilities are clear. Use this working method to improve the quality of analyses and decisions.
- Provide cost prices (cost of goods sold) in your feed.
- Use each property in only one label.
Common mistakes
- Overwriting a label your campaigns already use.
Frequently asked questions
What if a product has no cost price?
Then it gets no margin class. For the ROAS target, the shop margin can be used if that option is on.
