Audiences, location and language
Advisionr adds audiences in observation or as a signal for Performance Max, targets people who are actually in your country and picks the language of your website.

Why this matters
Targeting determines who sees your ads. Small settings can cost a lot of budget, for example when people outside your country see your ads.
Audiences
For search and Shopping campaigns, Advisionr adds suitable lists and in-market audiences in observation. In Performance Max, asset groups without an audience signal get one. At most two proposals per account are open at the same time.
Location and language
Campaigns should show to people who are in your country, not to people who are merely interested in it. If a campaign uses interest, an action appears to change this. New campaigns get the account’s country and your website’s language. If the language is uncertain, for example on a bilingual site, Advisionr sets no language.
Step by step
Follow this order to avoid drawing conclusions from incomplete data or mixing several changes at the same time.
- Approve audience proposals in the Action Center.
- Approve the action for the "Presence" location option where it appears.
- Check that the country and language of new campaigns are correct.
How to get the best result
Advisionr performs best when data, goals and responsibilities are clear. Use this working method to improve the quality of analyses and decisions.
- Upload your customer list for better signals.
- Use "Presence" unless you deliberately want to reach tourists or expats.
Common mistakes
- Setting audiences as targeting so your reach shrinks unintentionally.
Frequently asked questions
Will my existing campaign language be changed?
No, the language is only set on campaigns Advisionr creates itself.
