Tracking issues, conversion window and auto-applied recommendations
Advisionr monitors the quality of your conversion data. During a tracking issue Smart Bidding is protected, and the conversion window and Google’s auto-applied recommendations appear as actions in the Action Center.

Why this matters
Smart bidding strategies learn from your conversion data. If tracking drops out for a few days or counts double, Google bids on wrong numbers.
Advisionr recognises such issues and proposes measures you approve with one click.
Tracking issue
Advisionr compares daily conversions with what is normal. If they drop sharply or spike without explanation, it proposes excluding those days from Smart Bidding. Automatic budget and bid changes wait until a few days after the issue, and measurements over those days do not count.
Conversion window
The conversion window determines how long after a click a purchase still counts. Advisionr recommends 30 days for stores and 90 days for leads. If your setting differs, an action appears in the Action Center.
Auto-applied recommendations
Google can apply recommendations by itself. Those changes bypass your own strategy and Advisionr. That is why Advisionr proposes turning this off for every account.
Step by step
Follow this order to avoid drawing conclusions from incomplete data or mixing several changes at the same time.
- Approve the conversion window action if it appears in the Action Center.
- Turn off auto-applied recommendations via the proposed action.
- During a tracking issue, check your tag or connection and approve the exclusion.
How to get the best result
Advisionr performs best when data, goals and responsibilities are clear. Use this working method to improve the quality of analyses and decisions.
- Always fix the cause of a tracking issue yourself as well.
- Use one primary conversion for purchases.
- Turn off auto-apply before using AutoPilot.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring a tracking issue so Smart Bidding runs on wrong data for weeks.
- Leaving double-counting conversions in place.
Frequently asked questions
Does a rollback also remove my own data exclusion?
No. Advisionr only rolls back an exclusion it created itself.
Why 90 days for leads?
For leads it often takes longer before an enquiry comes in; with a shorter window you miss conversions.
